Steve's in Savannah, Georgia, for the day tomorrow. It's only about a three-hour drive from work, though, so he'll be back in time for his Tuesday-night football game. He played football last Thursday, too, and took a tumble. One player told me he did a fantastic tuck and roll as he fell. But that didn't stop him from injuring himself. He had a nasty abrasion on the back of his shoulder blade and he couldn't lift his arm for a couple of days. But he heals fast and is fit as a fiddle now.
I've started work on updating the Ashton Land website. I've got some photos ready for the Friends and Misc pages of the Photo Gallery. I just need to finish the descriptions and they'll be up. I may get them up today, but it will probably be tomorrow. Then I'll get the family ones up. I have a bunch of videos I want to share from the zoo, but I haven't found a workable way to include them, yet. I'm working on the site now, because it's been a few months since I've done work on it. Plus, I know I'll come back from our April trip with over a thousand pics. I'll need to concentrate on those upon my return, so I need to get the ones I have up now.
We had a brief cold snap last week, but the weather is progressively trending warmer. Spring has definitely arrived in the garden, and flowering trees in the area are in full, beautiful bloom. I'm hoping England and Scotland will be similarly blooming next month.
I've still not heard anything from UF about grad school. I'm worried. I keep thinking the long wait is a bad sign. But from what I've read, grad schools send out decisions from late February through late March. I keep telling myself that when I grow doubtful. Keep your fingers crossed. I really want to get into this program.
That's pretty much it on this side of the pond for now.
